![]() Katikati Medical Centre is based in the rural town of Katikati some 40kms north of Tauranga. As a Primary Health Care provider we are your first choice for medical care in the region. With nine Doctors and eight Practice Nurses we provide a full range of Primary Health Care services. We are committed to our patients. Our accreditation to Cornerstone shows this. Cornerstone is the continuous improvement program to develop managerial, organizational and clinical systems across the whole practice. Our accreditation is recognition by the NZ College of GP’s that we have reached a very high standard and that we have processes in place to ensure we are continually improving. Central Government policy is to for an increased focus on Primary Health Care through practices such as ours. We are determined to meet the many challenges this increased focus will provide. Katikati Medical Centre also works with a range of other health professionals in the Health Centre complex to meet the total health needs of the Katikati community. |
